Change in Cap for Cafiza® Brand and Puro Caff® Brand Espresso Cleaners - Less Waste, Stronger Seal
June 10, 2009 (Yonkers, NY) –Today, Urnex Brands, Inc. announced that all future production of Cafiza® and Puro Caff® espresso machine cleaning powder will be manufactured using a more secure and environmentally responsible cap. The packaging change will be implemented on 20 oz. jars of Cafiza® and Puro Caff® Brand products. The company is most excited that the new cap reduces the amount of polypropylene plastic consumed by 26% when compared to the version used previously. In addition, the cap has a stronger inner seal that will help maintain the integrity of the product during transport.
